Check out WADA's Teacher's Tool Kit
Are you a coach? A co-curricular teacher? This tool kit from the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) will come in handy.
The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) is the international independent organization created in 1999 to promote, coordinate, and monitor the fight against doping in sport in all its forms.
This Tool Kit contains a series of lesson plans that can be used by classroom teachers to introduce students to issue of doping, or drug use, in sport.
The Tool Kit is divided into material for students 10-12 years of age (Youth) and for students 13-16 years of age (Teen).
Teachers and coaches are encouraged to discuss anti-doping to non-elite athletes as well, just as the same to elite athletes.
The messages of anti-doping go beyond sports and would improve the youths' and teens' knowledge about the damages of enhancement drugs, especially in the growing years where some are particularly conscious about body-image.
